ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications are invited from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State only having minimum age of 14 years with no bar for upper age, for admission in different trades functioning in various PRIVATE ITIs of the State functioning under SCVT norms for the session 2017-18, and 2017-19 commencing from August 2017. The candidates who desire to apply for admission are advised to obtain the application forms for Free and Payment Seats on cash payment of Rs 40/- (Rupees Forty only) which will be available in different ITIs w. e. f. 08-07-2017 to 31-07-2017. The last date for receipt of forms duly filled is up to 03-08-2017. The details pertaining to trades functioning in various ITIs for which admissions are to be made for the session 2017-18 and 2017-19 for free and payment seats are given at Annexure ”A” for Jammu Division and at Annexure “B” for Kashmir Division enclosed:
The complete application form should be accompanied by self-attested copies of:
- State Subject /Permanent Resident Certificate.
- Marks Certificate of qualifying examination.
- Certificate showing Date of Birth.
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/Ex. Serviceman/Physically Handicapped) if any.
- Two Self Attested photographs.
Important Note:
- Selection will be made purely on the basis of academic merit obtained by the applicants in their qualifying examination (both for free and payment seats separately).
- On successful completion of training in trades running under SCVT, certificate will be awarded by State Council for Vocational Training.
- Candidates who have already undergone training in any of the trades in any ITI can apply for admissions in another trade two years after completion of previous training course. However, for the ensuing academic session, their admission can be considered in any trade having poor response.
- The candidates seeking admissions in Private ITIs are advised to go through the approved list of Pvt. ITIs which are authorized to conduct training in various trades under SCVT norms for the session 2017-18-19 and desist from taking admissions in those institutes which are pretending to be affiliated with Department of Technical Education J&K.
